Michael Savitsky: compass
Michael Savitsky: feng shui compass
The feng shi compass, as Michael Savitsky explains, is an
indispensable tool when it comes to accurate information.
This way, any feng shui expert or practitioner must know how
to use this compass and how to properly read it in order to
harmonize any environment as accurately as possible.
Michael Savitsky: how is it
The feng shui compass, also known as luo pan, allows knowing
how the eight cardinal directions behave within any specific
environment. This tool must be read properly and carefully
since a few degrees in difference can provide a completely
new type of information.
Michael Savitsky: reading it
As Michael Savitsky says, the feng shui compass provides
very accurate information that when is properly read can allow
a practitioner to balance the elements within a house in the
best possible way. The luo pan divides the eight main cardinal
directions in three sections, which gives a total of 24 different
sections, each one of 15 degrees. There also are more complex
luo pans which would provide even more accurate information
through more specific indications, but again, it is only recommendable
to use by experts since misreading it would be pointless.
Michael Savitsky: other tools
Other feng shui tools, such as the bagua map or the personal
kua numbers, also provide useful information which when used
in conjunction with the luo pan can allow a practitioner to
harmonize any environment as perfectly as possible. This way,
the ideal is to use all these tools together, but in case
of not knowing how to use the compass, following the indications
of the other tools can still be helpful when it is done properly.
