Michael Savitsky: destructive cycle
Michael Savitsky: destructive cycle characteristics
The destructive cycle is based on the way in which the five
main feng shui elements are placed in any given environment.
According to Michael Savitsky, these elements can form a destructive
cycle whenever there is a bigger amount of one, or more, of
them and then it or they predominate over the others.
Michael Savitsky: how to avoid it
As Michael Savitsky explains, in order to avoid the destructive
cycle you should learn in detail how the different elements
behave and in which areas of the house it would be appropriate
for one or more of them to predominate. There are some spots
which allow some beneficial aspects to be enhanced through
the use of one specific element and in these cases this element
can predominate over the others, although there always should
be other elements balancing it as well.
Michael Savitsky: how it is
In the destructive cycle, the elements interact in the following
way: water destroys or controls fire, fire destroys metal,
metal destroys wood, wood destroys earth, and earth destroys
water. As Michael Savitsky explains, this interaction is explained
through the fact that water puts out fire, fire destroys or
melts metal, metal can brake wood, wood can invade or penetrate
earth, and earth absorbs water.
As it can be seen, and Michael Savitsky says, feng shui,
its elements, and their cycles can always be explained through
natural laws. This is not coincidence, since in fact, feng
shui was born and is based on the most basic natural laws,
and it intends to search for the harmony that nature always
tend to create and the human being, with their creations,
tend to brake.
