Michael Savitsky: element fire
Michael Savitsky: fire and feng shui
As Michael Savitsky explains, fire, one of the main five
elements in feng shui is strongly related to enthusiasm, empowerment,
strength and energy when it is present in the appropriate
forms and amounts. On the other hand, when it is out of balance
and predominates in an improper place, it can involve danger
and destruction.
Michael Savitsky: balancing fire
It is very important to make sure the element fire is properly
used and balanced in feng shui, since otherwise, as Michael
Savitsky explains, it could bring problems to the house and
its inhabitants. Color red, pointing edges, and the south
area of the house should be paid special attention in relation
with fire and its effects since they represent it.
Michael Savitsky: fire with the other elements
In order to achieve a proper feng shui balance, it is also
important to know how an element relates to the others. Michael
Savitsky explains that the element fire is directly balanced
by the element wood at the same time that is necessary to
balance the earth. This way, it is important that there is
a balanced amount of wood, earth and fire, and ideally of
the remaining elements as well in order to allow them to enter
into the enhancing cycle.
Michael Savitsky: fire and unbalance
When fire predominates over other elements, they can enter
into the weakening or destroying cycle. According to Michael
Savitsky and feng shui, in the destroying cycle fire could
weaken wood and be weakened by earth, as well as wood would
weaken water, water would weaken metal, and metal would weaken
earth. This can be avoided with a proper balance among them.
