Michael Savitsky: feng shui colors
Michael Savitsky: colors in feng shui
In feng shui, as Michael Savitsky explains, colors are very
symbolic and can represent the main elements in their absence.
This way, colors can be very helpful at the time of balancing
the elements in an environment as well as they must be taken
into account when looking for a productive cycle or analyzing
how to fix a destructive one.
Michael Savitsky: blue, black and green
As Michael Savitsky explains, colors blue and black represent
the element water. This way, whenever you need to add this
element to a room you can indirectly do so by painting a wall
in blue or adding blue or black objects. On the other hand,
color green represents the element wood and therefore any
room painted in that color would have an important influence
from such element.
Michael Savitsky: red, pink and burgundy
In feng shui, colors red, pink and burgundy represent the
element fire. This way, you should analyze how much of this
color is present in your house or any specific room in relation
to how much there should be. If a spot which should be enhanced
with other element contains too much fire through the use
of those colors, this could be problematic and cause the elements
to enter into the destructive cycle, due to what it is always
recommendable to check the proper use of colors.
Michael Savitsky: yellow, orange and brown
Colors yellow, orange and brown represent the element earth.
As Michael Savitsky explains, these colors and this element
should be used according to the bagua map and compass indications
as well as they are ideal for painting the exterior of a house
which faces north east or south west.
Michael Savitsky: white, silver, gold and gray
According to Michael Savitsky and the general feng shui guidelines,
colors white, silver, gold and gray represent the element
metal. This way, by painting a room or a wall, as well as
by adding objects or ornaments in one of these colors, you
would be adding the element metal to that area. |
