Michael Savitsky and the feng shui
elements
Michael Savitsky: feng shui elements
As Michael Savitsky would say by following ancient
feng shui guidelines, there are five main elements from
which every object on earth is made of. Michael Savitsky
would explain that everything that surrounds us can
be placed into the group of one of the five main feng
shui elements which are: fire, wood, metal, water, and
earth.
Michael Savitsky: the elements fire and wood
According to Michael Savitsky, the feng shui element
called fire is strongly attached to the enthusiasm,
strength, and power. This element can be represented
through the color red as well as by the south, and should
be balanced with the other elements since a predominance
of it could cause destruction.
On the other hand, and following Michael Savitsky's
descriptions, the element wood represents creativity
and everything that involves renewal and innovation.
Wood also symbolizes socializations and friendship.
This element can be represented through the color green
and its orientation is east.
Michael Savitsky: the elements metal and water
The element metal, according to Michael Savitsky, symbolizes
success, prosperity, and everything related to financial
improvements. When not balanced properly, the negative
effect of metal can act as a knife and turn into a violent
element. This element is represented through the color
white and the west.
As Michael Savitsky would explain, the element water
is strongly related to everything which implies communications
and traveling as well as with the acquisition of new
knowledge and any activity related to learning. This
element is represented by the color black and by the
north.
Michael Savitsky: the element earth
According to Michael Savitsky, earth is the element
related to stability, patience, and long term goals.
When it isn't properly balanced, the element earth can
become too demanding and spread a lack of empathy. This
element is represented by color yellow and the central
area between north, south, east and west.
