Michael Savitsky: the number
The kua number, as Michael Savitsky explains, is a personal
number calculated through the date of birth and which can
help you improving several aspects of your life as well as
harmonizing your house according to it. This number is very
easy to calculate and is important to know it and consider
what it indicates at the time of applying feng shui guidelines
to the house, business, garden, or any other environment.
Michael Savitsky: calculating it
As Michael Savitsky explains, the kua number can be calculated
in two main steps. First, you should add the last two digits
of your birth year and reduce the result to one number. Per
example, if you were born in 1974, you should add 7+4=11 and
then 1+1=2. The second step is different for males than females.
If you are a male, your second step would be to deduct that
number from 10, which in our example would be: 10-2=8, therefore
8 would be the kua number. If you are a female your second
step would be to add five to your number, which in our example
would be: 2+5=7, therefore 7 would be your kua number.

Your kua number allows you to know which directions are more
auspicious for you. As Micharl Savitsky explains, the success
auspicious directions for the different numbers are: number
1= SE, 2= NE, 3= S, 4= N, 5 male= NE, 5 female= SW, 6= W,
7= NW, 8= SW, and 9= E.
Michael Savitsky: inauspicious directions
Your kua number also allows you to know your inauspicious
directions, which are the directions you should be careful
of since they might attract bad luck. The inauspicious directions
for the different kua numbers are: 1= W, 2= E, 3= SW, 4= NW,
5 male= E, 5 female= S, 6= SE, 7= N, 8= S, and 9= NE.
